I am looking for a family of 2.5K Series Joist for a current project that doesnt allow the use of the joist I was wanting to use because of the lack of space needed so the one that fits and it beefy enough to support the load is a 2.5K SERIES JOIST. If anyone has a 2.5K family or knows how to make one please let me know asap by replying to this thread or emailing me at mgore@geotechengineers.net thanks very much Matthew M. Gore

Sorry I dont know what a 2.5 serries joist is, and chances are you wont get anybody to up and give you one. This is an interactive forum. Generally people are willing to help but not do for you. That said you can probably modfy one of the out of the box families (modfiy parameters and/ or profiles as needed) to get what you need. HTH Nick

On the job site this usually consists of whatever extra mats are laying around, like hss tubes or channels. So in our drawings I just show a channel and call it 2.5k and move on.

Search the AUGI forums...I just saw one there for DL two weeks ago. Our Structural team has been using it with no complaints. However, you may consider what Justin said...HSS will also work for this purpose.

Just saw your post, don't know if you still need the 2.5k joist. Here is one that I found sometime back. Hope it works for you.
