hi, hi new to revit and trying to get used to software. have created a 3d solid modelling drawing of a wind turbine which i would like to import on to a building in revit architecture. can not seem to import correctly, can anyone tell me what is best way to create a 3d image of what i require and then import to revit. also can you import autodesk inventor and solidworks files. getting warning messages up when trying to import. can you copy and paste images. or do you have to import into a family directory first before inserting into revit drawing.

better try with the materials or go for 'Decals' in Modelling.
