I am using Revit Architecture 2008.  I'm fairly new to revit and am trying to make a faceted wall.  Is there any way to edit a wall in a similiar manner as making a roof (defining slope lines).  I have the shape I want as a roof, unfortunately it's rotated in the wrong direction.

Hi,

Have you tried any of the following?

Unfortunately,  you cannot make "slanted" walls in revit (at the moment).  Try using >create mass and model your wall/roof the same way you make in place component. You can hide or delete the mass afterwards.

If your primary intention is to make a roof, use floors instead of walls to shape your roof. Floors got more surface editing options like slopes and "edit face".

If the above doesn't work, try making "in place" component then categorize it under the appropriate family type. Combine blend sweeps/extrusion and voids to achieve varying thicknesses or holes.

Hope this helps

Much appreciated.  I'll give them a try.
