It would be great if there was a solution to "circular chain of refernces" other than not being able to save the changes i have made to an in project family. My favorite is when i change the material of an element with in a family, not move anything and not change any elements references, i get an error that there is a circular chain of refernces. From what! all i did is chang the material.

Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone with that frustration!!! I've received the "chain error" when doing nothing more than modifying the keynote reference in a wall type. Hoping the new version of Revit has magically eliminated the problem. Dan-o
