Is there a way to create a wall type with vertical sweeps or reveals in the wall edit assembly?

I want to create a wall that has the sweep I created to form the metal siding.  To do doors and windows, I had to create an opening and a wall behind the metal siding to make everything look allright.

horizontal yes, vertical, unfortunately no.  but if you design your sweep to go horizontally, and it is just very "wide", you can take up the whole wall with a pattern much like what you had shown.
