We inserted a gradient background (.jpg) and assigned it to the background.   It looks great on the display, but when we print, to any printer or to .pdf, the image appears 'over' the entire model.   (You can see the model through it, so it is not behaving like it is in the foreground, more like it is transparent and in the foreground)

 Anyone have any clues?

 We are using the latest build of Revit Architecture 2008.
