Thank you for your time and response.  i have created a tag that is as small as it can be to still fit the elevation number.  however,  we have a small powder room, a pantry, and a mudroom that are getting a little crowded - trying to avoid having to do a separate larger scale plan of these rooms.  room tags have embedded leaders so they can get kicked out of the room.

Would like to bump this up, as I am trying to figure this out as well, any solutions yet?

Again Revit Arch '08 is being used. Our annotation floor plans can get a bit crowded sometimes and its nice to have this feature

Why not just move the elevation tag out of the room and add linewrork.

that would make the idea behind revit again resort back to autocad.  the revit way would be "smart" so that another user could move the tag and not have to redraw the linework - the way revit currently works with room tags.

we have not found a solution - we ended up doing detail plans of the rooms to fit everything in the space and still be legible at the printed scale.
