Hey All,

I am looking to teach myself Revit 2008 and was interested in some suggestions on the most helpful books for beginners.  There are a number listed on amazon but I am having a hard time making a chocie.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Specifically has anyone had expereince with these books?

my advice would be to work through a basic work book like those from Daniel Stine and then move on to books like the ones you mentioned. The books from Stine can be completed in a weekend if you devote some time for that purpose and will give a good basic level 1 understand of Revit. That will make books like those that you mentioned read more clearly. Beware that Revit is journey and where it ends all depends on where your are trying to go with the program.

Welcome aboard and Good Luck with your journey.

The book "Introducing Revit Architecture 2008" by Eddy Krygiel, Greg Demchak, and Tatjana Dzambazova

should be really good.

Tatjana Dzambazova used to be the Revit Building Product Manager, like Nicolas Mangon for RST.

She really know Revit as she played a role in it's development.
