My computer shut off three times when I tried to load this into my project. I tried another computer, but it froze also. The problem is NOT the computer, but the family.

For slow computers: In edit family mode make a cuboid with model lines enclosing the bush. Change Visibility Graph of bush so that it is only visible in Fine mode. Then load it into the project & work in Coarse or Medium detail level.

Yeah, it seems like detailed 3d objects, especially plants, are always a bad idea in Revit. Me desperately trying to reach the render button was like a spy trying to find the code, while the computer has iniatiated self-destruction.
