I cannot get this fixture to move out tho the face of the wall for some reason it is 2 1/2" back from the face. Any suggestions?

If you go into the family and align the inner face of the mount to the exterior of the wall and reload it into your model you should see that issue of locating it go away.

Ya basically it was a light created on a 6inch wall. If your model wall is any thicker it sits back too far. Go into the family-click on the wall-crank up the thickness- then realign to make fixture meet wall and save. (I just clicked on the wall and nudged it back with the arrow key) Reload it and all of the placed fixtures will update.
